On a fresh install the crate is empty. Tap Try the sample to analyze a short bundled track and see what the app produces, or tap + and pick your own files from the Files app.
Tempo detection often settles on the slower reading for fast material — 174 comes back as 87. Tap ×2 on that track. The value you set is kept and will not be overwritten by a later analysis.
Major and minor are relative keys and analyzers swap them fairly often. Use Flip to relative. The harmonic matches are worked out again from your corrected key.
No. Drum loops, percussion and some acapellas have no key to detect, and the analysis returning nothing is the correct answer. Cratekey will not suggest harmonic matches for that track.
Two common reasons. If it is DRM-protected, it cannot be analyzed at all. If the file cannot be opened, it may have been deleted, or it may live on external storage or iCloud that is not reachable right now — reconnect the drive and analyze that track again by hand.
Not directly. Cratekey exports a CSV of the crate and a beatgrid file containing the anchor position, BPM, meter and beat-in-bar for each segment. Those are the values a beatgrid is made of, in a form you can process yourself.
Open Cratekey Pro from the toolbar and tap Restore purchase. If it still does not appear, e-mail us with the Apple ID region you purchased from.
Only for the purchase and restore, which Apple handles. Analysis is entirely on the device.
